I have a love for Yetis, this stems from the first Yeti I’ve known, Harold from Matterhorn. Cryptids are super fun creatures because they stem from a creative imagination, and not all Yetis look alike. When sculpting Leti, I wanted to give her a rockstar diva look with a custom earring that is made especially for her. Her fur shimmers in the light, her highlighted cheekbones sparkle as her bold bright lip just matches the same energy with her long lashes. (Yes, those are lashes, I am obsessed with adding them to my pieces when the occasion calls for it) Leti is a rock star that takes no shit, her pink eyeshadow is a personal love letter as it’s one of the brand colors. She also has her nose pierced with a loop nose ring; I mean how bad ass is she?! My imagination is huge, and I am so happy I was able to complete her. I love her so much to let her go. One day maybe I’ll create a smaller version of her, right now she looks fantastic on my shelf along with my other creations.
